I always got a few remorse when I have to shoot for people I am bounded with by kinship or friendship. Will I be able to create something that is not influenced by my emotional involvement? Will the newlyweds really be happy with the final result or will they appreciate my work solely guided by the kindness towards me?
We waited Francesca and Niccolò to get married for a while. Together with the bride, we wondered when Niccolo would take action to propose and make his family official. Niccolo is one of my closest friends, I shared many adventures and misadventures with him, during my previous professional life in the publishing and information technology market. Our doors are always open, to share a pizza and watching our girls play. And even if I punch him now and then, like an older brother would do, I have a great respect of him, of the seriousness and precision he carries out every activity of his life with. And even if he seemed to be latissing for his marriage, I finally realized he was simply planning the best possible event, on the best possible timeframe. His wedding with Francesca, between Prato and Calenzano in September 2017, has been a success in every detail.
Daniela and I have long dreamed of being able to tell the story of Francesca, Niccolo and their lively little Sofia. We wanted to capture them as a beautiful couple and also as young parents. We wanted to catch the innate elegance of Niccolo and the incredible look of Francesca in our pictures.
In the end, my worries were not founded: my friends have been genuinely satisfied, by the images you can see below.
