We woke up early in the morning, with a beautiful January sun. And even though the temperature was almost polar at -7 ° C, this wedding in Pistoia did not fail to warm us with its emotions. After many years of engagement, shared on the athletic tracks, Francesca and Fabio planned to celebrate their wedding … in sports shoes.

From our first meeting, we felt in tune with this reserved and elegant couple. And they perfectly planned the event, fitting their personal style.

A wedding in Pistoia…in running shoes…

For us, it was somehow a first time. Despite being so close, we missed the opportunity of a wedding in Pistoia until this event. With fresh eyes, we took photos in one of the most iconic centers of Tuscany. Francesca cherished the idea of strong images in the cathedral area. Unluckily, the weekly market has not allowed us to create those pictures every bride dreams of in her city. But thanks to the sympathy and spirit of adaptation of  our bride and groom, it was possible to create authentic images, with a street flavor, right among the market stalls. And if every couple has their own places of the heart, Francesca and Fabio most loved one, was their athletics track.

Wearing running shoes and surrounded by the warmth of a large group of friends, we did not miss the orange color of the tartan track. And to top it off, once arrived in Pieve a Nievole, a stone’s throw from Montecatini Terme, we enjoyed a splendid sunset light over the Poggetto Resort pool. And such a positive day, could only end even better. After the cake’s cut, once the moorings have been retracted, friends and relatives of all ages unleashed a party, this couple will not easily forget!
