And it’s not a surprise if what seems obvious in our everyday life, for many brides who live outside Italy, is a long awaited dream.
Over the last three, four years, we have been able to work with many couples, many amazing brides and grooms , that made us discover, and rediscover, the infinite beauty of our region.
Wedding in Tuscany
Tuscany is not only its main attractions, it’s not only Florence, Siena, Pisa or Arezzo, but also all the infinite constellation of small villages and countryside, where it is amazing to get lost and where it is extremely easy to make beautiful pictures of our brides.
The magic of the small Tuscan villages
During our portrait sessions, we can always ease the emotional tension of any wedding, letting the newlyweds to taste their first moments of intimacy and complicity, away from the crowd of friends and relatives. And there is nothing more intimate than the cozy frame of the many small villages we got in Tuscany. We found ourselves walking in Artimino with Barbara and Stefano, hiking on the banks of the Arno river under the collapsed Calcinaia bridge with Barbara and Gionata, collecting smiles and the warmth of the people who greeted Melissa and John in Montopoli Val d’Arno.
Walls, churches and castles
Great pictures are only possible with great scenarios and to be a wedding photographer in Tuscany, from this point of view, reserve us only opportunities. In our region, every crossroad, every stone oozes history and tradition. You can be on top of San Gimignano towers or in a small Casentino church, to make stunning photographs to be collected in any of our wedding albums, is definitely an easy task. Some locations are really carved in our heart and we hope our advices will inspire those who are currently planning their wedding. So why not choose the fortified walls of Calenzano like Tela and Nicola did, or experience the atmosphere of Sant’Appiano church in Barberino Val d’Elsa as Laura and Francesco, or even get lost in the secrets of the fortified Castello del Trebbio wine cellars in Pontassieve like Paula and Fernando.
Great wines and great Tuscan food
Planning your wedding in Tuscany, will also provide to taste traditional local cuisine and to discover great wines. During summer and autumn, the queens of wedding seasons in Italy, you can experience the opulence of vineyards, or you can get lost at sunset among grapes and branches as we did with Erika and Paolo, in gorgeous countryside of Terricciola in the province of Pisa, or even with Jolanda and Giacomo in San Casciano Val di Pesa, in the beautiful Chianti region.
To be a wedding photographer in Tuscany, to be newlyweds in Tuscany, means above all to experience the smile, the warmth and friendliness of the Tuscans, because every special land is made of special people, and every story we tell, every emotion we keep, is definitely a blessing.
